Site Engineer – Construction & Interior Fit-Out Location: Chennai, Tamil nadu 2–5 years of experience Gender: Male only Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer to oversee and manage the technical aspects of construction and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will coordinate between design teams, contractors, and clients to ensure timely and quality delivery of projects. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Coordination: Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and contractors to ensure project alignment. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any technical issues. Technical Support & Quality Assurance: Review project specifications and drawings to ensure accuracy and feasibility. Provide technical guidance to project teams and assist in resolving design and construction challenges. Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence. Prepare and submit regular project status reports to the Project Manager. Track project costs and assist in budget management. Client Communication & Stakeholder Management: Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing technical queries and providing updates on project progress. Ensure client satisfaction by delivering projects that meet or exceed expectations. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and work with the project team to develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and report on risk factors throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. 2–5 years of experience in project engineering or a related role within the construction/interior design industry. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Familiarity with AutoCAD or other design software.
