Job Description

Job Purpose:

To plan, coordinate, and execute instrumentation and control system projects from design through commissioning, ensuring technical compliance, timely delivery, and cost effectiveness while meeting client and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare project execution plans, schedules, and resource requirements for instrumentation works.
  • Review and interpret P&IDs, datasheets, hook-up drawings, control logic, and vendor documents.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of instruments, control systems, and field devices.
  • Manage subcontractors, site engineers, and technicians to ensure quality and timely completion of works.
  • Participate in FAT, SAT, loop checking, and system integration testing.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, QA/QC procedures, and HSE standards.
  • Handle client communication, attend project review meetings, and resolve technical queries.
  • Track project progress, monitor costs, and prepare periodic status reports.
  • Support documentation, as-built drawings, and project handover activities.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation / Electronics / Control Engineering.
  • 3–7 years of experience in instrumentation project execution (oil & gas, petrochemical, power, or industrial automation).
  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems (DCS, PLC, transmitters, sensors, control valves, analyzers, etc.).
  • Familiarity with international standards (ISA, IEC, ISO, NEC).
  • Hands-on experience in installation, calibration, and commissioning.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and teams under tight deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

  • Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required.
  • Ability to work extended hours during commissioning and project deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
