Project Engineer

Tasks & activities Successful Project Execution – Once PO is received. i. Responsible for component selection such as pressure vessels, pumps sizing, sizing, valves selection based on the quotation & P&ID shared by the proposals team. ii. Create project specific near accurate BOM / BOQ iii. Prepare supporting documents like DQ, IQ, OQ, Product Manuals, Test certificates of various components, As built P&ID, GAD, As built skid drawing, packing list etc & create a comprehensive Manual for the handover of the entire project iv. Coordinate with procurement dpt for scheduling & Placing POs to our vendors for time efficient deliveries. v. Ensure site is prepared before mobilization of manpower. vi. Schedule for timely delivery of system to client site. vii. Schedule & plan for site activities with recordable milestones. Ensure Site engineer is adhering schedule & ensure site engineer is receiving full cooperation & support from client team. viii. Daily briefing to site engineers will include: a. Explaining the system to site engg in detail. b. Explaining our commitments & our scope. c. Clarifying activities outside of our scope. d. Discussing the layout of our system & client floor plan. e. Ensuring site preparedness checklist is ready (get details from site engineer) f. Submit project schedule to project manager. g. Take daily reporting of E&C status from site engineer & submit weekly report to project manager. h. Raising query points with Proj manager daily. i. Troubleshooting & guiding the Site / Service team for query resolution ASAP. j. Deputing the solution to site / service engineers & their team of helpers & fitters. k. Providing basic training to helpers & fitters. l. Ensure project execution within Stipulated timeline & budget. ix. Ensure site progress sheet is updated for weekly briefings with HO. x. Must have detailed knowledge of working principals of following process equipment: PSF; ACF; MGF; Softener; DM; UF; NF; RO; EDI. xi. Detailed knowledge of minor technicalities of the integrated system solutions that we provide, namely: - Purified Water / Water for Injection – generation, storage & distribution systems. - Wastewater recovery systems - Generic WTP for Raw water purification. - Industry specific applications for the industries we cater to.
