Project Engineer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Project In-Charge (Engineer) to handle day-to-day site operations for our HVAC and MEP projects. The person will be responsible for managing site work, coordinating with teams, ensuring quality and timelines, and maintaining smooth communication between the site and head office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute daily site activities for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems.

• Supervise technicians, subcontractors, and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and standards.

• Coordinate with design, purchase, and project planning teams for materials and manpower.

• Monitor project progress, identify delays, and take corrective action.

• Conduct site inspections and quality checks during installation and commissioning.

• Maintain site documentation like daily progress reports, material request forms, and test reports.

• Communicate with clients and consultants for work updates, approvals, and inspections.

• Ensure proper use of materials, tools, and safety equipment at site.

• Support billing and project handover activities.

Requirements:

Education:

• Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Experience:

• 1–3 years of experience in HVAC or MEP project execution.

• Hands-on knowledge of installation, testing, and commissioning.

Skills:

• Good understanding of HVAC/MEP drawings and project site practices.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Basic knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD.

• Ability to manage multiple sites and work independently.
