Project Engineer Civil Construction (Roads & Highways) Location: Any part of Karnataka Experience Required: 8 to 20 Years Industry: Infrastructure / Construction / Civil Engineering Employment Type: Full Time Job Summary: We are hiring experienced Project Engineers with a background in road and highway construction to support the execution and coordination of infrastructure projects across Karnataka. The ideal candidate will play a key role in technical planning, resource management, and site supervision to ensure high-quality and timely project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing civil works for road/highway projects. Supervise daily site operations and ensure work is executed per approved designs and specifications. Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, and vendors. Prepare and maintain project documentation including progress reports, DPRs, and quality checklists. Conduct quantity take-offs, prepare BOQs, and support billing activities. Ensure adherence to IRC/MORTH specifications and company quality and safety standards. Identify site issues and coordinate for timely resolution with project managers and stakeholders. Support procurement planning and manage material and equipment delivery schedules. Participate in client and stakeholder meetings as required. Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering. 8 to 20 years of relevant experience in roads/highways/infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of civil engineering practices and highway construction methodologies. Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications. Familiar with IRC, MORTH standards, and relevant project guidelines. Excellent coordination, communication, and documentation skills. Willingness to be deployed anywhere in Karnataka based on project requirements. Preferred: Prior experience in NHAI, PMGSY, State Highway, or other government road projects. Proficiency in project tracking software like MS Project or Primavera is a plus. Remuneration: Competitive salary based on experience and industry standards.
