Job Title: Site Engineer Civil Construction (Roads & Highways) Location: Any part of Karnataka Experience Required: 8 to 20 Years Industry: Infrastructure / Construction / Civil Engineering Employment Type: Full Time Job Summary: We are seeking experienced and motivated Site Engineers with a strong background in roads and highway projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and supervising on-site construction activities, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery of civil infrastructure projects across various locations in Karnataka. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day site execution of road and highway construction projects. Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and project timelines. Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly progress reports. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers for smooth execution. Supervise and ensure quality control, safety, and environmental standards on-site. Review and verify contractor bills, quantity measurements, and material usage. Liaise with government authorities, consultants, and internal teams as needed. Manage workforce and site logistics effectively. Troubleshoot construction issues and provide technical guidance. Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering. 8–20 years of experience in road/highway construction projects. In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and quality control. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using site measurement tools. Familiarity with IRC/MORTH specifications and standards. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to be stationed anywhere in Karnataka as per project requirements. Preferred: Experience in National Highway/State Highway/PMGSY/Smart City or similar government-funded projects. Knowledge of construction management software or ERP systems. Remuneration: Commensurate with experience and industry standards.
