Key Responsibilities

Design and plan: Develop project plans and blueprints, and write specifications that meet local, state, and federal standards
Manage construction: Oversee site inspections, construction progress, and compliance with safety regulations and building codes
Coordinate: Work with contractors, architects, and government agencies
Monitor: Track project performance and ensure that deliverables are met
Report: Provide regular updates to the project manager on progress and issues
Create budgets: Estimate costs, prepare forecasts, and develop budgets
Manage compliance: Ensure that projects comply with all relevant regulations and legislative requirements
Estimate costs using previous bids and regional trends for projects.
Operate computers to prepare, review, and edit engineering drawings, data analysis and cost estimations through spreadsheet software, prepare project memorandums and reports,
Negotiate, manage, and prepare compensation for contractors,
Prepare and review plans and check construction for conformance with standards & specifications.
Investigate, prepare, and present technical reports and presentations
Monitor work for compliance with established methods, guidelines, standards and procedures.
