Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop

  new business opportunities

  in plastic recycling, reprocessed polymers, and sustainable material development — across domestic and international markets.
• Conduct in-depth

  market research

  , competitor analysis, and feasibility studies for emerging recycling technologies and business models.
• Lead

  greenfield and brownfield project development

  , coordinating with internal and external stakeholders through all phases from concept to commissioning.
• Represent the organization in

  industry conferences, exhibitions, and committee meetings

  related to recycling, sustainability, and circular economy policy development.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the board on

  R&D initiatives

  opportunities.
• Participate in

  industry associations and government forums

  , contributing to the development of recycling and waste management standards.
• Oversee

  compliance with global certifications

  GRS (Global Recycled Standard)

• Identify and coordinate

  new project funding opportunities

  R&D incentive programs

  relevant to the recycling and environmental sectors.
• Drive initiatives linked to

• Liaise with

  MSME departments, pollution control boards, and policy bodies

  for approvals, grants, and partnerships.
• Lead

  customer acquisition, brand development, and strategic alliances

  across PAN India and international markets.

Preferred Profile:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in

  Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science

  , or equivalent discipline.
• Minimum

  8–12 years of experience

  in

  plastic recycling, sustainability, or circular economy-focused industries

  .
• Strong experience in

  business development, new project execution, and funding coordination

  .
• Prior experience with

  Big Four consulting firms

  or leading sustainability consulting organizations is a plus.
• Deep understanding of

  recycling regulations, certification compliance (GRS, SMETA, etc.), circular economy frameworks, and carbon credit trading programs

  .
• Proven experience in

  government liaison

  ,

  MSME/R&D grant management

  , and

  subsidy application processes

  .
• International business exposure with

  PAN India and overseas travel experience

  .
• Excellent communication, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
