Project Coordinator

About the Role :

We are seeking a motivated Project Coordinator with 13 years of experience in the aerospace and defence manufacturing industry. The role involves coordinating project activities, supporting cross-functional teams, ensuring the timely execution of deliverables, and maintaining compliance with industry quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including R&D, Engineering, Production, Purchase, Quality, and Stores, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and milestones, updating stakeholders on progress.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation on including reports, minutes of meetings, risk registers, and compliance records.
• Support in managing procurement schedules, vendor coordination, and material follow-ups.
• Ensure adherence to AS9100 / defence industry quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Highlight project risks, delays, or resource constraints and assist in resolution. Organise review meetings and ensure effective communication among stakeholders.
• Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and project status updates for management. Required

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination within the aerospace/defence manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, MS Project (or equivalent project management tools).
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, supply chain workflows, and quality standards in aerospace/defence.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
• Exposure to ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma methodologies.
• Certification in Project Management (CAPM/Prince2/PMI-ACP) will be an added advantage.
