Job Description

Role Summary:

The

Project Coordinator BD West

will serve as the key liaison between the Business Development (BD) team and the Project Execution teams for solar projects across the West India region. The role is focused on ensuring timely, accurate, and proactive communication to clients regarding project status updates, while internally tracking project milestones, coordinating inputs from multiple stakeholders, and resolving execution-related bottlenecks in collaboration with project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Coordination

  • Act as the single point of contact for project-related updates for clients in the West India region.
  • Share timely and accurate updates to clients on project progress, timelines, milestones, and site readiness.
  • Coordinate project review calls, MOMs, and status trackers for clients in partnership with the BD team.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, and Site Execution teams to gather and consolidate project updates.
  • Follow up on critical milestones such as mobilization, procurement, construction timelines, net metering, and handover schedules.
  • Escalate delays or issues to BD West Head with suggested resolutions and mitigation plans.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain client-wise project trackers with real-time status on deliverables and timelines.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure documentation (site readiness certificates, handover reports, inspection reports, etc.) is shared with clients in a timely manner.

Process Support

  • Identify recurring issues or delays and support the BD team in creating process improvements.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism in all external communications to uphold the company s brand and trust with clients.

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong follow-up and coordination capabilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint) and project tracking tools
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities across multiple stakeholders
  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
