Job Description

Role Overview: As a Project Control Analyst in the APAC region, you will be reporting to the APAC Project Controls Lead and working closely with the project team. Your main responsibilities will include Cost Forecasting, Cash Forecasting, Risk Management, Earned Value Management, Change Management, and Manpower Planning. You will collaborate with Project Managers and project teams to generate operational and financial metrics for project decision making. Key Responsibilities: - Facilitate reviews to ensure accurate cost estimates at project completion. - Manage preparation of internal and external reports and actively participate in project operations and schedule reviews. - Establish and document project-specific change management procedures and ensure project team adherence. - Coordinate change order meetings and track approved change orders. - Analyze project-specific contract terms and requirements to identify the full contractual scope of the project. - Generate project operational and financial metrics for Project Management decision-making. - Participate in project Risk Reviews and communicate risks to the leadership team. - Facilitate project reviews to ensure accurate reporting of cost, revenue, and gross margin before results are communicated. - Coordinate contract budgets across technology centers and ensure accurate cost distribution forecasts. - Update Project Schedule levels in Microsoft Projects software. - Review reports with project managers and finance departments to identify cost variances and ensure WBS compliance. - Track contractual milestones and stage gates for timely client invoicing. - Provide ad hoc reporting for project and senior management using various software tools. - Apply code of accounts to project estimates and contract terms. - Ensure compliance with financial/project management policies and accurate tracking of costs within the ERP system. - Monitor the use of the ERP system and resolve discrepancies with account structure. - Verify data entered into costing categories adheres to contract terms and subcontractor management requirements. - Ensure timely update of period costs into the general ledger tool and recognize potential budget under/over runs based on progress towards completion. Qualifications Required: - Good communication skills and ability to work in an international team. - Ability to evaluate information from various costing data sources to produce monthly project forecasts. - Proficiency in English language, both written and verbal. - Basic knowledge of risk management concepts. - Working knowledge of project controls and ERP tools, preferably SAP. - Understanding of project estimate breakdown, cost accounting structures, and contract requirements. - Basic knowledge of project delivery requirements. - Around 4-8 years of experience in Project Controls Background, especially in processing equipment project execution. - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in a business-related or technical major. - Strong knowledge of Microsoft products, particularly MS Excel. - Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP software. - Experience in an international environment is preferred.,
