Project Closeout Coordinator- Telecom


Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Closeout Coordinator to manage and streamline the closeout process across various project phases. This role is essential to ensuring that all project documentation, materials, and deliverables are accurate, complete, and submitted on time. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to drive successful project completion.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and coordinate all activities related to project closeout, ensuring alignment with internal procedures and deadlines.
  • Maintain and update project data in planning tools, working closely with project controls to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Manage the return and documentation of surplus materials, ensuring proper recording in inventory and financial systems.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance and project teams to ensure accurate documentation and reporting for project turnover.
  • Support scope development and documentation processes, including promoting standard practices and serving as a key contact for quality-related deliverables.
  • Review subcontractor purchase requests for potential cost recovery and coordinate with relevant teams as needed.
  • Own the final turnover package, including reviewing contractor submissions, providing feedback, and ensuring all documentation meets quality standards.
  • Approve closeout processes in internal systems and manage related purchase orders and task tracking tools.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding project items, including punch lists and safety compliance tasks.


Qualifications/Experience


  • 2+ Industry experience is required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with project management tools and documentation systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
  • MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
  • Relevant experience in wireless technology and telecommunications preferred.
  • Should be able to support US Eastern Time Zone


Education

A recognized degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent years of work experience.
