Objective of the position

Major Deliverables :

A. Program Leadership & Implementation

• Oversee end-to-end implementation of the self-employment program across Telangana.
• Develop district/territory-level work plans and ensure timely execution of all activities.
• Monitor beneficiary mobilization, enterprise selection, business planning, training delivery, and post-setup handholding.
• Drive monthly performance reviews with field teams to ensure territories meet their targets.

B. Credit Facilitation & Partnerships (NBFC/MFI Focus)

• Lead partnerships with banks for credit linkage of PwD entrepreneurs.
• Support field teams in loan eligibility assessment, documentation, and repayment monitoring.

• Manage and mentor territory managers. Business development managers and cluster coordinators.
• Build capacities of field teams in credit assessment, enterprise support, documentation, and compliance.
• Conduct regular field visits (minimum 1012 days/month) across territories.

D. Stakeholder & Government Engagement

• Coordinate with district administrations, disability welfare departments, DPMs, SHGs, industry associations, and local institutions.
• Represent the program in government meetings, CSR reviews, and partner visits.

E. Operations, MIS & Compliance

• Ensure accurate data entry, reporting, and documentation across all project components.
• Review MIS dashboards, track KPIs, and course-correct operational gaps.
• Ensure all field processesmobilization, verification, disability documentation, loan facilitation, and enterprise setupfollow program SOPs.

F. Risk Management & Quality Assurance

• Identify program bottlenecks, credit risks, operational leakages, or deviations in processes.
• Implement quality audits and strengthen grievance redressal mechanisms for beneficiaries.

  Functional Competencies :

A. Operations & Program Management

• Strong understanding of field operations, sales/service processes, and performance monitoring.
• Ability to manage multiple districts and high-volume activities.

B. Financial Services / NBFC Knowledge

• Experience in credit assessment, borrower profiling, documentation, and portfolio monitoring.
• Understanding of MSME loans, individual business loans, and underwriting basics.

C. Enterprise Development & Livelihoods

• Knowledge of micro-enterprises, rural livelihoods, value chains, supply chains, or small business support.
• Ability to guide PwDs in planning viable micro-enterprises.

D. People Management

• Strong team leadership, coaching, productivity management, and conflict resolution skills.

E. Data & Reporting

• Proficiency in Excel, MIS dashboards, target tracking, and data-driven decision-making.

F. Communication & Stakeholder Coordination

• Ability to work with government officials, financial institutions, vendors, and community networks.

Work Experience:

• 7 -12 years

  of experience in

  operations

  in NBFC/MFI, microfinance, livelihood programs, fintech, or large-scale field programs.
• Minimum

  35 years

  of experience managing multi-district operations.
• Experience facilitating

  loans/credit linkages

  or working on

  self-employment programs

  preferred.
• Prior exposure to working with vulnerable communities, SHGs, or PwDs is an added advantage (not mandatory).

• Other requirements :

• Willingness to travel extensively across Telangana (5060% travel).
• Strong command over

  Telugu and English

  (speaking, reading, writing).
• Ability to work with diverse field teams and PwD communities.
• High integrity, empathy, and sensitivity towards disability inclusion.

Valid two-wheeler license is preferred.
