Professor of Management

As a Tenure Track Professor of Management at Woxsen University, you will be a part of an academic community dedicated to transforming management education in India while addressing social and environmental challenges through innovative teaching, research, and community engagement. You will have the opportunity to develop and deliver courses emphasizing sustainability, ethical leadership, and social responsibility while mentoring students through various learning initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in management with a focus on sustainability, ethical leadership, and social responsibility. - Implement experiential learning methodologies such as the "village-to-boardroom" continuum approach. - Mentor students through Social Internship Projects and community-based learning initiatives. - Utilize innovative pedagogical approaches to enhance technical competencies and ethical sensibilities. - Contribute to curriculum development aligning global management perspectives with Indian context applications. - Engage in signature educational programs like #FutureYou Talks. - Provide academic advising to students during regular office hours. Research and Scholarship: - Maintain an active research agenda addressing management challenges relevant to sustainable development and responsible business practices. - Publish in high-quality peer-reviewed journals and present research at national and international conferences. - Seek external funding opportunities aligned with Woxsen's research priorities. - Collaborate on research initiatives with faculty, industry partners, and community stakeholders. - Mentor doctoral students and involve them in research projects to enhance research excellence in sustainability and responsible management. Service and Community Engagement: - Participate in departmental, school, and university governance activities. - Support student recruitment, retention, and placement efforts. - Engage with surrounding communities through Mutual Benefit Model initiatives. - Build relationships with industry partners to enhance student learning opportunities and institutional impact. - Represent Woxsen at academic conferences, industry forums, and community events. - Engage with professional associations relevant to management education and research. - Contribute to Woxsen's initiatives in Ethics, Responsibility, and Sustainability (ERS). Qualification Required: Essential: - PhD in Management or related field from a recognized university. - Demonstrated teaching excellence at undergraduate and/or graduate levels. - Scholarly productivity demonstrated through publications in peer-reviewed journals. - Commitment to experiential learning, sustainability education, and holistic student development. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to collaborate in a diverse and collegial environment. - Willingness to engage with local communities and industry partners. Preferred: - Experience integrating sustainability principles into management education. - Track record of successful community-engaged teaching or research. - International teaching or research experience. - Industry experience or consulting relationships relevant to management practice. - Experience with innovative pedagogical approaches. - Ability to secure external research funding. - Experience in mentoring doctoral students.,
