Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Professor & Head at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture & Technology. The role is located in Allahabad and involves leading academic and research activities within the department. Responsibilities include curriculum development, delivering high-quality teaching, guiding faculty members and students, conducting and publishing advanced research, and fostering an environment of academic excellence and innovation. Additionally, the Professor & Head will oversee administrative and departmental operations and contribute to institutional growth.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Curriculum Development and Education, with the ability to structure and enhance academic programs.
• Strong skills in Teaching and Research, including the ability to mentor students and contribute to scholarly publications.
• Specialized knowledge or experience in Medicine or related disciplines is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and administrative capabilities, with experience managing teams or departments.
• A doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in a relevant field is required, and extensive experience in academia is highly preferred.
• Effective communication, decision-making, and collaboration abilities to support an academic leadership role.
• Commitment to fostering a vibrant academic and research culture.
