Production Supervisor

Job Title: Supervisor – Production & Packaging

Department: Production & Operations

Location: Piplaj-Kankrej Road, Daskroi, Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Job Responsibilities:

1*.Purchase, Planning & Inventory Management:*

• Maintain and monitor inventory levels of packaging materials for different production orders.
• Oversee procurement planning and RM & packaging material requirement scheduling.
• Coordinate with approved vendors, purchase, and supply chain teams for timely availability.
• Track and control inventory levels, ensuring minimal variance and maximum accuracy.
• Implement proper storage and handling procedures for packaging materials.
• Retained samples management and checking at regular intervals

2*.Packaging Material and Raw material coordination:*

• Observes packaging operations and inspects packaging to verify conformance to specifications
• Ensure proper coordinator with different team members.
• Analyst and determine all standards for packaging lines and ensure compliance to all schedule for processes and develop and maintain all packing orders effectively
• Monitor and recommend improvements to process and develop and maintain all packing orders effectively

3*.Quality Control:*

• Inspect and review of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
• Collaborate with QA/QC team for in-process checks and corrective actions.
• Conduct in-process quality checks during manufacturing.

4*.Documentation:*

• Understand the requirements of registration and accordingly arrange the requested documents from time to time
• Strong follow-up for documentation for registration and keep managers informed
• Prepare and compile excel sheet for order planning, raw materials, stability data samples, packaging materials and keep up to date.

6*. Dispatch:*

• Coordinate the final inspection and final dispatch of goods under proper conditions.
• Ensure effective communication with warehouse and distribution teams for smooth delivery.
• Ensure proper labeling and packaging of products for dispatch.
• Prepare dispatch documentation and coordinate with supply chain team for timely delivery.

7*.Others:*

• Other activities as assigned including special projects, as needed
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned by the manager of the role

Education & Experience:

• MBA (Operations / Supply Chain / Production Management) – preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing/production/operations (Pharma/Healthcare preferred).
• Any QA/QC experience would be an advantage
• Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping

Skill Set:

• Proven experience in Production, Packaging and inventory management
• Strong knowledge of operations management, supply chain, and production planning.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with focus on process improvement.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and use of MS Office tools.

Work Hours

• 9 hours in a day – 09.45 AM to 07.00 PM

Salary

• 20k to 30k per month as per candidate experience and expertise

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
