Production Supervisor

Job Description: We are looking for a Production Supervisor with experience in plastic molding and thermoforming operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing production activities, managing manpower, and ensuring timely delivery of quality products while maintaining productivity and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage day-to-day production operations on the shop floor. Ensure effective machine utilization, reduce downtime, and maintain production efficiency. Plan, coordinate, and monitor shift-wise production targets and output. Allocate work to operators, helpers, and ensure optimal workforce utilization. Conduct tool changeovers and coordinate with maintenance for breakdowns. Maintain process parameters and ensure consistent product quality. Monitor production rejection, reduce scrap, and implement improvements. Collaborate with the quality department to handle in-process issues and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, and housekeeping standards. Maintain production records, daily reports, and shift handovers. Train and guide shop floor workers on standard operating procedures and best practices. Coordinate with stores, dispatch, and maintenance teams for smooth operations. Key Skills & Knowledge: Good understanding of thermoforming and plastic injection molding processes. Ability to read production plans and interpret process parameters. Hands-on experience in managing shop floor teams and shift operations. Knowledge of basic troubleshooting for machines and process issues. Familiarity with ISO 9001 systems, safety norms, and standard shop floor practices. Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, basic Lean concepts is a plus. Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills. Basic computer knowledge for maintaining records
