Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead production team members on the shop floor.

• Plan, organize, and monitor daily production schedules to meet output and quality goals.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.

• Train, guide, and motivate staff to maximize productivity and teamwork.

• Monitor equipment and machinery performance; coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs.

• Control waste, optimize resources, and improve production efficiency.

• Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and shift reports.

• Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

• Address employee concerns and foster a safe, positive work environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree/diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred).

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor, Line Leader, or similar role in manufacturing/production.

• Strong knowledge of production processes, safety regulations, and quality management systems.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.

• Ability to solve problems, make quick decisions, and handle pressure effectively.

• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is an advantage.

• Flexibility to work in shifts as required.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing plant / production facility.

• Shift-based role with shop floor supervision responsibilities.

• Requires adherence to safety protocols, PPE usage, and hands-on involvement in daily operations.
