Production Supervisor

Role Overview: As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process within the medical device industry. Your primary focus will be on developing production plans, ensuring targets are met, managing the workforce, and maintaining quality standards. You will play a crucial role in optimizing production efficiency, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and meeting regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: - Develop production plans based on demand forecasts, material availability, and workforce capacity. - Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure adequate raw material availability. - Supervise and manage the labor force, assign tasks, and monitor performance. - Conduct training programs to enhance worker skills in medical device manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality controls. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations, workplace standards, and industry standards like FDA regulations and ISO 13485. - Oversee inspection and testing of raw materials, components, and finished products. - Implement corrective actions for quality issues and optimize processes for efficiency. - Maintain accurate production records and handle inventory management effectively. - Serve as the primary point of contact for production-related issues and facilitate team meetings. Qualification Required: - Candidate should be a graduate. - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a supervisor in the production department within the medical device industry. - Familiarity with medical device quality management systems (e.g., ISO 13485) and regulatory requirements.
