Job Title: Production and Quality Inspection Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Production and Quality Inspection

Engineer with approximately 2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing

environment. The role involves overseeing day-to-day production processes and conducting

quality checks to ensure that all parts and assemblies meet the required specifications and

quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Production:

• Monitor and support daily production operations to ensure timely completion of

tasks.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth workflow.

• Interpret technical drawings and ensure assembly/fabrication is carried out as per

specifications.

• Track production performance, update reports, and suggest process improvements.

• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.

Quality Inspection:

• Conduct in-process, incoming, and final inspections using standard measuring

instruments.

• Verify dimensional accuracy and surface finish against engineering drawings.

• Document inspection findings and maintain records such as QC checklists, rejection

reports, and delivery clearance logs.

• Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions

(CAPA).

• Coordinate with vendors for quality-related feedback and improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in production and quality inspection roles.

• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings.

• Proficiency in using inspection tools and basic knowledge of manufacturing

processes.

• Familiarity with quality documentation and reporting standards.

• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Word and reporting tools.

Preferred:

• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or drone manufacturing industry.

• Exposure to quality systems like ISO 9001 or AS9100.

• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or basic Six Sigma concepts
