About Us
Flying Wedge Defence and Aerospace designs & manufactures unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) from 10–800 kg, delivering cutting-edge defence and aerospace solutions.
Role
We are looking for a Senior Engineer – Communications with deep expertise in long-range & satellite communication systems for aerospace applications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design & integration of long-range and satcom systems for UAS.
Define requirements & system architectures.
Integrate payloads, antennas & ground control stations.
Conduct lab & field testing for validation.
Ensure regulatory compliance (spectrum, export control).
Troubleshoot complex RF/data link issues.
Mentor & guide junior engineers.
What We’re Looking For
B.E/M.E. in EE, Aerospace, or related field.
7–10+ years in communication system design & development.
Strong expertise in RF engineering, SDR, data links & satcom (Inmarsat, Iridium, Starlink).
Hands-on experience with embedded systems & protocols.
Excellent problem-solving & communication skills.
Bonus: Defence/aerospace background, cybersecurity knowledge, and familiarity with military/commercial communication standards.
