Swarna Bharat TV is a mission-led creative platform telling precise, high-quality stories on Bharat’s history, culture, spirituality, and knowledge systems. Our YouTube channel is live with RashtraGaatha, and we’re rolling out twelve original shows—animated series, on-field documentaries, studio formats, and feature specials. We pair research-first writing with cinematic craft, and we’re preparing our originals for wider distribution, including OTT.


About the Role

We’re hiring an Operations & Production Coordinator—a street-smart multitasker who owns studio logistics, office admin, and first-round hiring. You’ll keep shoots, spreadsheets, and the talent pipeline moving—and double as on-set production manager when cameras roll.


Key Responsibilities

  • Talent & HR:

    Run screening calls using the approved script; send tests, track submissions, and keep the candidate sheet updated.
  • Studio & Gear:

    Maintain the equipment log; do weekly health checks; prep sets/props and crew essentials for 4–5 shoot days/month.
  • Production Logistics:

    Draft call sheets/rosters/cash floats; coordinate actors, freelancers, and vendors; resolve on-set issues fast.
  • Admin & Finance:

    Post expenses within 24 hrs; reconcile petty cash; process vendor payments; manage calendars, travel, inventory, and service vendors.
  • Team & Leadership Support:

    Keep Slack/WhatsApp comms clear; track shoot budgets and variances; assist founders with blocks, follow-ups, and quick problem-solving.


90-Day Success Metrics

  • Equipment log 100% updated by EOD every Friday.
  • Expenses posted within 24 hrs; mismatches < 2%.
  • Candidate shortlist within 48 hrs of any new JD.
  • Shoot-day readiness ≥ 8/10 on the internal checklist.


Must-Haves

  • Graduate; 2–3 yrs in studio ops/production support/admin.
  • Fluent English; Hindi/Marathi a plus.
  • Strong Google Sheets/Excel; comfortable with Docs/Calendar and tight timelines.
  • Hands-on production workflow knowledge; confident as on-set production manager.
  • Street-smart vendor negotiator; calm under last-minute changes.
  • Proven ownership of budgets/petty cash/expenses; meticulous and discreet.
  • Cross-team coordination and proactive problem-solver.
  • Willing to commute to Vashi 6 days/week; early call-times and occasional weekends.


Nice-to-Haves

  • Media-house/studio experience.
  • Basic GST/petty-cash know-how.
  • Passion for Indian heritage stories.
