Production Manager

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of production planning to optimize efficiency and meet delivery timelines.
• Oversee the setup and smooth operation of production lines.
• Ensure consistent quality control throughout the production line and in finished goods.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of fabrics, machinery, garment processes, batch setting, and overall operations in the garment industry.
• Should have knowledge on Standard Allowed Minutes (SAM) to enhance productivity and workflow.
• Lead and guide teams in cutting, stitching, and finishing operations effectively.
• Should take complete accountability for the production process, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
• Manage production for both outerwear and innerwear garments with expertise.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of all production-related activities.
• Utilize patterns and technical garment knowledge to improve product quality and processes.
• Collaborate with vendors to drive innovative product development.
• Conduct daily follow-ups with suppliers to ensure timely sampling and delivery.
• Escalate quality issues or deviations in samples and commitments promptly.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure consistent supply and quality.
• Drive the entire new product development process from concept to delivery.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in woven and knit garment production techniques and processes.
• Qualification: B.Tech in Textiles or a related field, or any other graduate with relevant experience.
• 4 to 5 years in a production management role within the textile/apparel industry.
• Specialized knowledge in innerwear production is mandatory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and production planning tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
