Job Description

Production Manager

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Execution

Develop and implement daily/weekly production schedules to meet demand.
Ensure optimal utilization of raw materials, machinery, and manpower.

Process & Quality Control

Monitor production processes to maintain consistency in product quality.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, BIS, etc.).

Team Management

Supervise and guide production staff, operators, and technicians.
Conduct training sessions to improve workforce efficiency and safety awareness.

Maintenance & Safety

Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and ensure smooth plant operations.
Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Cost & Efficiency Optimization

Track production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Reporting & Documentation

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production reports for senior management.
Maintain accurate records of raw material usage, output, and wastage.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in related field.
6–10 years of experience in
cementitious products, construction chemicals, or tile adhesive manufacturing
.
Strong knowledge of mixing, blending, and packaging processes in adhesive or cement plants.

Skills & Competencies

Leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems for production planning.
Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Work Environment

Plantbased role with handson involvement in production floor activities.
Coordination with procurement, quality, and logistics teams.
