Production Manager

Job Description: We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Production Manager to oversee end-to-end production operations. The ideal candidate should be experienced in planning, managing shop floor activities, ensuring timely production with quality, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and optimizing resources to meet output targets within defined quality and cost parameters. Roles and Responsibilities: Manage daily production planning and ensure timely execution of production schedules Monitor end-to-end production operations across the Delivery function. Allocate manpower and machine resources efficiently to maximize productivity Coordinate with the team and provide guidance to achieve targets while fostering a positive and supportive work environment Ensure product quality standards are met and rejections are minimized Maintain discipline, safety, and hygiene standards on the shop floor Track WIP (Work in Progress), downtime, and output reports to identify and resolve bottlenecks Implement cost control initiatives and optimize resource utilization Supervise maintenance of machinery and coordinate with engineering for breakdowns Lead a team of supervisors, line in-charges, and operators for smooth operations Maintain production documentation, reports, and MIS for management review Preferred Skills: Strong knowledge of garment/textile manufacturing processes (woven, knits, embroidery, etc.) Expertise in production planning, line balancing, and industrial engineering Leadership and team management skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability Proficiency in production-related software, Excel, and ERP systems Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines Required Qualifications : Degree /Diploma in Textile Technology / Industrial Engineering Additional certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or Production Planning (preferred) Strong verbal and written communication in English and regional language Willingness to work extended hours based on production needs Years of Experience: 5 – 7 Years Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
