Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Manager, based in Jharkhand, India. The Production Manager will oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are met. Responsibilities include planning and organizing production schedules, optimizing resource utilization, managing budgets, and leading a team of production staff. The role also involves monitoring production performance, resolving issues, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications

Expertise in production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and adherence to product quality standards
Proficiency in team leadership, supervision, and staff development
Analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving production challenges effectively
Familiarity with safety regulations, compliance requirements, and process improvement practices
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing or production management, preferably in the forging industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and inventory management is a plus
