Production Manager – Cast Film Production Plant LOCATION: Agarwal Technoplast , Kharabwadi Chakan JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Production Manager with strong expertise in Cast Film Extrusion used in hygiene/packaging applications. The ideal candidate will lead the entire production floor — ensuring maximum productivity, quality consistency, machine uptime, safety compliance, and team performance. This role requires strong technical understanding of extrusion lines, raw materials, downstream equipment , and mechanical troubleshooting , along with exceptional planning and people management capabilities. The ideal candidate must have strong technical understanding of cast film properties, customer application requirements, and experience in selling B2B materials to converters, hygiene product manufacturers, and packaging companies. The person will be responsible for generating sales, developing new customers, managing existing accounts, forecasting demand, and ensuring long-term profitable growth. The candidate must possess strong expertise in film testing standards, polymer quality behavior, defect analysis, laboratory management, and regulatory compliance for hygiene-grade film applications. This role ensures that all raw materials, in-process film, and finished goods consistently meet required specifications through robust lab testing, process quality control, and equipment-driven accuracy. Quality Assurance & Quality Control Implement and maintain quality standards for RM, in-process film, and FG rolls. Approve quality parameters such as thickness profile, GSM, tensile properties, puncture resistance, clarity, COF, and winding consistency. Establish quality checkpoints and maintain inspection frequency across shifts. Laboratory Management & Test Equipment Handling A.
