Profile- Production Manager

Qualification - B.Tech / Diploma- Mechanical, Production, Metallurgy

Experience - 10+ years in fastener parts manufacturing, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role. responsible for overseeing the entire production process of fasteners (bolts, nuts, screws, rivets, etc.), ensuring manufacturing targets are achieved with high quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

Salary - Upto 30 LPA CTC + Accommodation

Location - Jafza, Dubai (UAE)

Key Responsibilities

Strong knowledge of fastener manufacturing processes (cold forging, heat treatment, threading, coating).

Ability to lead and manage a large workforce.

Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949, ISO 9001, and other quality standards.

Hands-on experience with Lean, TPM, Six Sigma is preferred.

Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.

Allocate resources (manpower, machines, materials) efficiently to meet targets.

Monitor production flow and ensure on-time delivery.

Supervise the manufacturing of fasteners including cold forging, heat treatment, threading, plating, and packaging processes.

Ensure optimum utilization of machines like heading machines, thread rolling machines, CNC machines, and heat-treatment furnaces.

Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective measures.

Work closely with QA team to ensure production meets ISO/TS/ASTM standards.

Reduce rejection, scrap, and rework through process improvement.

Drive initiatives for zero-defect production.

Lead and motivate supervisors, operators, and shop-floor workers.

Conduct training for skill development and safety practices.

Maintain discipline, teamwork, and productivity culture.

Coordinate with maintenance team to ensure minimum machine downtime.

Implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.

Enforce EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) norms.

Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.

Implement lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S practices.

Control production costs and improve operational efficiency.

Maintain production records, MIS reports, and KPI tracking.

Ensure compliance with statutory and industry standards.
