Production Maintenance Supervisor

Job Overview: We are seeking a responsible and hands-on Production Cum Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and manage daily site activities at our shot blasting Sites. This individual will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted machine operation, executing on-site Machine maintenance, managing production schedules, and adhering to quality and safety standards. The role requires both technical knowledge and the ability to lead a small team in a dynamic site environment. Key Responsibilities: Production Supervision: • Supervise daily production operations of shot blasting machines to meet Client output targets. • Ensure timely loading/unloading of components as per Set standard machine cycle times. • Maintain production logs and ensure accurate reporting of Production shift activities. • Coordinate with the Head Office on planning number of operator required / Machine spares, consumables required to align with dispatch and project timelines. Maintenance Execution: • Perform regular equipment checks and basic preventive maintenance activities as per Check Sheet. • Troubleshoot and assist in resolving breakdowns related to mechanical and electrical issues. • Escalate major technical issues to the senior maintenance engineer/team. • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the machine area. Safety & Compliance: • Ensure operators and helpers follow PPE and safety protocols strictly. • Conduct basic safety briefings and SOP training for support staff. • Identify potential hazards and report them promptly to avoid site risks. • Ensure compliance with Blastpro's SOPs and EHS guidelines. Team Handling & Site Discipline: • Monitor Production, work quality, and conduct of operators/helpers at the site. • Coordinate daily assignments and ensure task completion as per schedules. • Communicate effectively with the head office or regional supervisor regarding site needs, material planning, or urgent escalations. Qualifications & Experience: • Education: Minimum – Graduation. Additional Education - Diploma or ITI in Mechanical/Electrical/Production Engineering or equivalent vocational training. • Experience: Freshers can apply with zero – 1 year Experience. • Technical Skills: o Training will be provided by Blastpro Team. o Any skills such as – Welding / Fitting / Electrical wiring etc will be appreciated. • Soft Skills: o Strong team coordination and communication skills. o Disciplined, punctual, and proactive in handling tasks. o Ability to handle site pressures and multitask efficiently. Additional Requirements: • Willingness to work extended hours or shifts as per project requirements. • Physically fit to handle machinery-related tasks and work in industrial site conditions. • Must be open to travel to other sites within the region for short assignments or support. • Local candidates or those with field-site experience preferred.
