Job Title: Production In-Charge – Power Cord Division

Department : Production & Operations

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer to take on the role of Production In-Charge for our Power Cord Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, maintaining machines to ensure optimal performance, and guiding the production team in resolving technical issues on the shop floor. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, production workflows, and hands-on troubleshooting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Operations:

• Manage and oversee day-to-day production activities in the Power Cord Division.
• Monitor production schedules to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Optimize manpower utilization and coordinate workflow for maximum efficiency.
• Maintain production records and generate regular reports on output and performance.

Machine Maintenance:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of production machinery.
• Monitor machine performance, identify potential issues, and plan maintenance activities accordingly.
• Coordinate with external service providers for major machine overhauls or repairs.
• Maintain maintenance logs and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

• Provide on-the-spot technical support to operators during production.
• Analyze mechanical faults and guide operators on resolution procedures.
• Train machine operators on safe handling and minor maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with the quality and engineering teams to resolve process-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2-3 years of experience in a production and maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment used in power cord or wire manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Ability to read technical drawings and machine manuals.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using MS Office and basic ERP systems.

Remuneration:

• As per industry standards and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 01/10/2025
