Job Description

As a strategic and technically strong leader responsible for heading Photovoltaic Cell Manufacturing operations, your role will involve setting up PV cell manufacturing from end to end. You will be leading the execution of technical projects such as new production line commissioning, capacity expansion, and technology transfers like PERC, TOPCon, HJT. It is essential to coordinate with OEMs, engineering, and R&D teams to ensure timely project completion and performance ramp-up. Your ownership will extend to production performance, operational excellence, and team leadership. - Lead the execution of technical projects such as new production line commissioning, capacity expansion, and technology transfers (e.g., PERC, TOPCon, HJT). - Coordinate with OEMs, engineering, and R&D teams to ensure timely project completion and performance ramp-up. - Develop and implement detailed production plans aligned with organizational goals. - Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and cell efficiency. - Oversee the entire cell manufacturing process from raw material input to finished product output. - Build, manage, and mentor a team of engineers, supervisors, and operators. - Ensure effective utilization, maintenance, and performance monitoring of all production equipment. - Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with industry and internal quality standards. - Promote and enforce high standards of workplace safety, environmental compliance, and cleanroom discipline. - Monitor and report on key performance indicators including OEE, yield, cycle time, and cost per watt. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's or masters degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or equivalent). - 10+ years of experience in solar PV cell manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. - Strong technical expertise in cell manufacturing processes (PERC, TOPCon, HJT, etc.). - Experience in greenfield/brownfield plant setup and project execution. - Proven ability to lead large teams in a multi-shift, high-throughput environment. - Strong decision-making, analytical, and organizational skills. - Familiarity with automation, MES, and data-driven manufacturing. In addition to the above requirements, preferred skills include: - Experience with global PV manufacturing companies. - Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 practices. - Strong understanding of cleanroom protocols and contamination control.
