Production Executive

Job Title: Production Executive – Sweet Line
Department: Production
Location: Production House / Manufacturing Unit
Reporting To: Production Manager / Factory Head

Job Description:

We are looking for a production executive to manage and supervise daily production activities in the sweet line. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, maintaining quality standards, controlling wastage, and achieving production targets as per company norms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, monitor, and execute daily production activities for the sweet line as per production schedules.
• Ensure production targets are achieved with optimum utilization of manpower, raw materials, and machinery.
• Maintain consistent quality, taste, hygiene, and food safety standards as per FSSAI guidelines.
• Monitor raw material consumption and control wastage and variance.
• Coordinate with the Stores, Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch departments for smooth workflow.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of machines and production equipment.
• Supervise production staff, allocate duties, and ensure discipline and productivity on the shop floor.
• Maintain daily production reports, yield reports, and manpower attendance.
• Ensure cleanliness, GMP, and safety standards in the production area.
• Handle breakdowns and process issues, and take corrective actions to avoid downtime.
• Support new product trials, standardization, and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and statutory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate/Diploma in Food Technology, Production, or a related field (preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience in sweet manufacturing/confectionery/bakery/FMCG production.
• Strong knowledge of sweet production processes and hygiene standards.
• Ability to handle manpower and work under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of production reporting and MS Excel.
• Good coordination and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
