Production Engineer

As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing processes, improving production efficiency, ensuring product quality, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. Your role plays a key part in ensuring timely delivery of metallizing equipment while maintaining safety and quality standards. - Plan, coordinate, and monitor production activities to ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations. - Identify and implement process improvements to optimize production efficiency. - Coordinate with design, procurement, and quality teams to ensure seamless workflow. - Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and provide timely resolutions. - Monitor equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs or servicing as needed. - Maintain production documentation, including reports, SOPs, and quality logs. - Train and supervise shop floor staff and technicians as required. - Ensure compliance with ISO and other relevant quality standards. - Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. - Oversee daily operations in the fabrication department, ensuring production schedules are met. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction. - Help implement and manage efficient fabrication processes and procedures. - Develop and execute plans for improving production efficiency and reducing waste. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field. - 4-5 years of experience in a manufacturing/Engineering setup. - Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, CNC/lathe/machining operations, welding, and assembly. - Proficiency in reading Technical drawings and using CAD tools. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent organizational and team management abilities. - Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and other industrial best practices. - Preference to Local Candidate.
