Production Engineer (Mechanical)

A renowned company engaged in manufacturing of DUCTS for the last two decades and catering to HVAC Industry is looking for Production-Engineer (Mechanical) for its Plant at Pardi, Gujarat having expertise in fabrication of material with GI, MS, SS sheets.

Production Engineer shall plan, coordinate and control manufacturing processes so that products are delivered on time and within budget. Shall also ensure that goods and services are produced safely, cost-effectively and on time and that they meet the required quality standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and control all element of production on daily basis to produce high quality products
• Coordinate manufacturing activities, calculate production, labour and material costs, drawing-up budgets, reviewing production and adherence to delivery schedules.
• Analysing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout to improve manufacturing efficiency
• Material requirements planning (MRP),scheduling, and making inventory control system, ensuring optimum allocation & utilisation of available resources
• Drive Continuous improvement of production processes
• Maintain production means in good working condition to reduce downtime.
• Manage the Production Team and Provide on-going Training and Up-skill Support.
• Ensure production of goods according to required quality standards
• Manage budget through indicators (direct manpower, overheads, etc.)
• Create and implement Standard Operating Procedures for Quality Control & Maintenance of Machines
• Enforcement of Environment, Health and Safety Rules & Standards
• Prepare Production Data Reports and submit to the Decision Makers

Qualification

• B.Tech/B.E./ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering ,
• Must have knowledge of Design Software Autocad
• Having strong Knowledge of Manufacturing Standards, Health & Safety Procedures.

Experience

• Having 8-12 years relevant experience of working in a Manufacturing Unit. Preference will be given to candidate having experience in manufacturing of DUCTS

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
