As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Linux production environment, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and applications. Key Responsibilities Monitor and maintain the Linux production environment, including servers, applications, and databases Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise in the production environment Implement and maintain automation tools to improve efficiency and productivity Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new applications and systems Conduct regular performance and security audits to identify and address any potential risks Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the production environment Create and maintain documentation for all production processes and procedures Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripting Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Additional Parameters Certification in Linux or related technologies is a plus Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices is a plus If you are a self-motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for technology and a desire to work in the banking industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
