Job Description: Production Engineer

Location: Mohali

Salary: Up to ₹28,000 per month

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in a similar industry

Notice Period: 15-20 days

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Inspection: Conduct detailed quality checks of MRN (Material Received Note) and casting items to ensure high standards.

2. Production Coordination: Collaborate with sales teams to align production schedules with sales orders, ensuring timely deliveries.

3. Production Planning: Develop and oversee production plans for assembly, grinding, and polishing processes to meet operational goals.

4. Sales Execution Monitoring: Track the production progress to meet sales targets and ensure smooth execution of orders.

5. ISO Compliance: Maintain records and documentation as per ISO standards and ensure adherence to all quality management requirements.

6. Audit Management: Handle internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.

7. Management Representative (MR) Responsibility: Act as the MR, coordinating quality management system processes and ensuring efficiency.

8. Tooling and Machinery Planning: Identify and implement improvements in tooling and machinery parts to enhance production efficiency and meet audit standards.

9. Rejection and Rework Analysis: Analyse rejection and rework trends, determine root causes, and implement action plans to improve quality and reduce wastage.

10. Machinery Startup: Oversee the kickstart of machinery, ensuring optimal functioning and minimal downtime.

11. Cross-Departmental Coordination: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and address any production-related issues.

12. Sales Target Monitoring: Monitor daily production activities to ensure targets are consistently met and production bottlenecks are addressed promptly.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in production, with a strong understanding of MRN, casting, and quality management in a similar industry.
• Proven experience in production scheduling, planning, and execution.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and experience in managing audits.
• Strong analytical skills to identify and address production inefficiencies, rejection rates, and rework causes.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively across departments.
