Production Engineer

The Production Engineer is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the manufacturing processes for air clean products, including Passbox, Laminar Air Flow units, Biosafety Cabinets, FFU, and Air Shower systems. This role ensures that production is efficient, safe, and meets the highest quality standards required for cleanroom and HVAC applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities for air clean products, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality benchmarks.​
• Analyze and optimize production workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.​
• Troubleshoot technical issues on the production line and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.​
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Maintenance) to implement process improvements and new technologies.​
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), production documentation, and quality control protocols.​
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry-specific requirements (ISO, cGMP, etc.).​
• Train and guide production staff on equipment operation, safety protocols, and best practices.​
• Monitor production data, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process enhancements.​
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to manage the supply chain and ensure timely delivery of materials and components.​
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in cleanroom and HVAC manufacturing.​

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.​
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in production engineering, preferably in HVAC, cleanroom, or air filtration manufacturing.​
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production systems, and quality control methodologies.​
• Proficiency in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles.​
• Familiarity with CAD software and statistical process control (SPC).​
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.​
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality and efficient production processes.​

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.​
• Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.​
• Experience with production planning and scheduling software.​
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies and smart manufacturing (added advantage).​
• Experience with cleanroom product validation (DQ/IQ/OQ documentation).
