Role: Production Director

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end production for podcasts, interviews, long-form videos and multi-camera shoots.
• Develop detailed pre-production plans including shot lists, scripts, reference boards, lighting setups and camera layouts.
• Oversee 3-camera and multi-camera setups, framing, lighting, sound design and studio workflow.
• Plan and capture high-quality B-roll, cutaways and supplementary footage for storytelling.
• Coordinate shoot logistics: equipment, crew, studio bookings, timelines and on-set schedules.
• Direct talent and on-camera speakers to ensure confident delivery and smooth recording.
• Guide editors by providing clear references, creative briefs, storytelling direction and feedback.
• Work closely with the social and content teams to align production execution with the brand’s creative vision.
• Maintain a structured production pipeline for all projects with clear timelines and deliverables.
• Ensure consistent production quality across all Fingrowth Media properties and client-based shoots.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong understanding of multi-camera setups, lighting, sound and studio workflow.
• Hands-on experience with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, audio gear, lighting rigs and production equipment.
• Ability to prepare pre-production documents such shot lists, storyboards, references, schedules and creative decks.
• Strong communication and team management skills.
• Ability to guide editors and creative teams with clarity and direction.
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing and production aesthetics.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shoots and deadlines.
• Familiarity with colour palettes, brand tonality and production styles suited for finance content.
