Role Summary

Production & Design Consultant

This role focuses on recommending the best carpets for client spaces, customizing colors, coordinating production, and ensuring smooth order execution from proposal to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Carpet Recommendation & Space Consultation

• Understand client requirements, interior style and space dimensions.
• Suggest the best carpet designs, colors, textures, and sizes from collections.
• Provide mockups or digital previews when necessary.

2. Create Premium Sales Proposals

• Prepare presentation-style proposals with:
• Recommended carpet options
• Size suggestions
• Color palettes
• Pricing & timeline details
• Ensure proposals reflect luxury brand standards.

3. Prepare Quotations

• Generate accurate cost estimates based on size, weave, material, and customization.
• Update quotation sheets and ensure approval accuracy.

4. Color Customization in Carpets

• Change/replace carpet colors using Photoshop or similar tools.
• Create color variations requested by the client.
• Ensure color accuracy with Pantone/TCX references.

5. Work on CAD Files (Edits Only)

• Make minor updates such as scaling, color adjustment, or layout changes.
• Ensure files meet production specifications.

6. Extract Accurate Carpet Colors

• Identify and document exact color tones used in designs.
• Prepare color sheets for production referencing.

7. Production Tracking & Follow-Up

• Maintain a tracker for all current orders with progress updates.
• Follow up with production for weaving, washing, binding, and finishing timelines.
• Identify bottlenecks and ensure timely escalation.

8. Coordination with Production Team

• Share approved CADs, specifications, quotations, and color charts.
• Get progress photos, QC updates, and weaving confirmations.
• Resolve any technical or color related issues quickly.

9. Coordination with Customer Relations Team

• Provide regular production updates for client communication.
• Share images, timelines, and changes as required.
• Assist CRM in answering client queries on color, size, or suitability.

Skills & Competencies

Aesthetic & Analytical Skills

• Strong understanding of interior aesthetics and color theory.
• Ability to judge what carpet suits different spaces.

Software Skills

• Photoshop / Canva or color-editing tools.
• Basic CAD handling (edits only).
• Good command over Excel/Google Sheets.

Coordination & Project Management

• Strong follow-up discipline.
• Ability to manage 20-40 orders at once.
• Attention to detail in documentation and updates.

Communication Skills

• Clear, professional communication with internal teams and clients.
• Ability to interpret and simplify client needs.

Qualifications

• Degree in

  Interior Design / Textile Design / Fashion / Arts / Commerce

  or relevant field.
• 0.5–4 years of experience in interior products, furnishing brands, or design coordination roles preferred.
• Freshers with strong aesthetics & software skills may be considered.

Salary Range

₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month
