Job Description

In this role as a Product Sales Manager-Trade Sales in Wholesale Banking, your main responsibility will be to drive asset and flow-based trade business while generating revenue for the clients. You will be involved in sourcing, structuring, and implementing funded and non-funded trade business for both existing and new clients. Your collaboration with the client coverage team and risk team will be crucial in managing the portfolio risk effectively. Your key roles and responsibilities will include: - Building and growing the bank's Trade Finance & Services portfolio and overall business. - Developing detailed account plans and execution strategies for each client, conducting periodic reviews to ensure alignment with the account plan. - Prospecting and identifying corporate clients with strong trade potential, especially new-to-bank clients. - Demonstrating strong knowledge of competitors" products and the market landscape in Trade and Capital Account business. - Providing inputs on products, service levels, and product features to the product and strategy teams to assist in developing a best-in-class Transaction Banking suite of products. - Offering insights on sales strategy for setting up Trade Finance and services. - Owning, articulating, and executing the business strategy covering product development management, sales, and service delivery to achieve trade targets. - Updating and training Relationship Managers on Trade & Capital Account Products. - Ensuring timely implementation of client deals and assisting them in resolving transactional queries. - Managing deferrals in a timely manner and building industry knowledge in certain sectors to effectively manage the portfolio. As for the educational qualifications required for this role, you should hold a graduation degree in any field and preferably a post-graduate degree.
