Job Description

Role Overview: As a Product Sales Manager in Retail Banking at the branch level, your primary responsibility will be to drive sales and distribution of the bank's small-ticket, unsecured overdraft products. You will need to develop and implement sales strategies, manage relationships with client-influencing partners, and ensure that sales targets are met or exceeded. It is essential that you have a strong understanding of current account customers and sourcing from the specified catchment area. Experience in handling retail merchants will be advantageous for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Manage transaction banking requirements of clients and maintain relevant regulatory relationships. - Prospect and identify clients with strong transaction banking potential and introduce them to digital solutions. - Activate the wishlist of identified clients to grow the overall transaction banking business. - Provide inputs to product and strategy teams for the development of a best-in-class transaction banking suite. - Contribute to sales strategy formulation for setting up transaction banking services for clients. - Own and execute the business strategy covering product development, management, sales, and service delivery to achieve cash management and trade targets. - Update and train Relationship Managers on new transaction banking products. - Ensure timely implementation of client deals and assist in resolving transactional issues. - Build strong working relationships with stakeholders for effective execution of responsibilities. - Gather market knowledge and feedback on competition benchmarking for continuous evaluation of in-house offerings. - Collaborate with Product and Operations teams for process reengineering and product enhancements to enhance client stickiness. - Identify and establish strategic alliances across segments for delivering innovative solutions to clients. Qualification Required: - Graduate in any stream - Postgraduate in any field - Professional qualification like CA, CFA, ICWA would be a plus - Minimum 5+ years of experience in banking or FinTech industry, with a preference for experience in product sales, transaction banking, or retail banking at a managerial or senior individual contributor level.,
