The 3Phase business as part of Data Center Systems LOB is facing a significant and sustainable growth. Our business requires a tailored UPS and PDU solutions designed to meet unique customer requirements beyond standard configurations.

We are seeking a dynamic and decisive Customer Specific Projects (CSP/ETO) Product Manager to lead customer-specific customization projects for our 3-Phase UPS and PDU product lines.

The CSP Product Manager is a key position in a global organization, delivering value to the business and customers while maintaining a clear view on what the customer needs and what needs to get done. He/she represents the customer and act autonomously to communicate the right vision of the customer specific products within the CSP development & delivery teams while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders (customers / commercial / plant / internal sponsors).

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, technical understanding, and business acumen to balance customer satisfaction by setting priorities (define, own and maintain the backlog), drive the strategic intent of the CSP and maximize the value of work done with the teams. He/she creates a conducive and collaborative environment through effective leadership.

Role & Responsibilities

o Define value proposition & set CSP strategy in alignment with 3PH business vision & to ensure team achieves strategic goals

• Understand and analyse customer values, application, competitive environment, market trends

• Serves as the primary liaison between region and CSP development teams.

• Evaluate incoming customization requests from regions for feasibility, cost, delivery timeline and alignment with business goals. Define and manage project scope, timelines, and cost estimates.

• Communicate clearly and assertively with regions, including the ability to say “no” when requests are not viable.

• Partner with the CSP program manager to drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely and quality delivery of CSP solutions. Prioritize and manage multiple CSP requests based on business impact and resource availability.

• Develop and maintain a CSP catalogue, pro-actively identifying the customer and business needs and streamline repeatable customizations.

• Define and implement a CSP strategy that aligns with customer needs and business objectives.

• Identify opportunities to standardize frequently requested customizations into core offerings.

• Balance the perspectives of region and CSP engineering and delivery teams to ensure business-critical orders are fulfilled efficiently.

• Provide regular updates to leadership on CSP project pipeline, risks, and outcomes.

Education & Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field (MBA preferred).

• 7+ years of experience in product management, project management, or technical sales support

Required Key Skills & Experience

• Experience presenting to Customers & Leaders, and experience in saying 'No' when required

• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.

• Proven ability to manage conflict and negotiate effectively.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience in successfully leading teams in a matrix environment.

• Experience with 3PH UPS systems is desirable.
