Product Manager

Role & responsibilities

• The incumbent will be responsible for streamlining the equipment /machinery loans business generated through the manufacturer of industrial equipment/ machineries for all products for given locations
• He/She will have to liaison with the branches to ensure that the budgeted figures for the product are achieved on a month on month basis
• He/She will be responsible to regionally coordinate with all manufacturers for lead generation.
• Responsible for streamlining the machinery finance vertical for the company for the zone/region
• Conduct a comprehensive survey of the machinery market across different segments such as machine tools, packaging, printing, plastic etc.
• Identify key stake holders in the industry. Proactively liaison with them & drive business generation through them.
• Identify associations & events in the industry. Chalk out a plan for increasing presence in the industry though them.
• Monitor the performance of the new business generation for revenue, profitability and delinquency
• Providing support to the branches through marketing initiatives.
• Work closely with the credit policy team on new product recommendations / product development based on a 360 degrees approach on business metrics such as portfolio performance, policy rationale, pricing, process management, benchmarking of competition & market research / feedback.

Technical Competencies Required:

• Min 2 years in sales in OR Min 2 years in product role in equipment finance company
• Prior experience in a managerial position handling techno-commercial aspect in related industries preferred
• Experience in handling manufacturer relations / Key account management

Behavioral Competencies Required:

• Presentable, Proactive, self-starter & a continuous learner with good communication skills is a must.
• Prior experience in a managerial position handling techno-commercial aspect in related industries preferred
• Willingness to travel across the zone.
• Willing to work for the financial services industry
• Sound knowledge of MS office products
