Product Manager

As a Product Manager at an early stage to Series C startup, your role will be crucial in defining, developing, and launching software products that cater to customer needs and align with business objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales, and customer support to ensure the successful delivery and adoption of products in the market. Key Responsibilities: - **Product Strategy & Roadmap Development:** Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap by analyzing market trends, customer requirements, and competitive positioning. Ensure alignment of product goals with company objectives and communicate the roadmap effectively to stakeholders. - **Drive Technical Leadership:** Collaborate with the engineering team to lead technical platform initiatives such as performance and scalability enhancements. - **Customer-Centric Development:** Conduct research, gather feedback, and analyze data to identify customer pain points and product opportunities. Work with design and development teams to transform customer needs into product requirements. - **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Partner with engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features. Foster collaboration across departments to maintain alignment on product vision and execution. - **Product Lifecycle Management:** Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to development, launch, and post-launch improvements. Continuously iterate the product based on customer feedback and performance data. - **Market & Competitor Analysis:** Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies. Utilize insights to guide product development and positioning in the market. - **Data-Driven Decision Making:** Monitor product performance, user engagement, and KPIs using analytics tools. Utilize data insights to prioritize features and drive product improvements. - **Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:** Provide regular updates on product progress, successes, and challenges to stakeholders and executives. Ensure transparency on timelines, deliverables, and outcomes. Requirements: - **Experience:** 5-10 years of experience in product management, preferably in a SAAS startup, B2B, B2C, or D2C environment. - **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, preferably from a Tier 1 institute. - **Technical Acumen:** Strong understanding of software development processes and lifecycle. Familiarity with agile methodologies, user stories, and backlog prioritization. A background in technical development is advantageous. - **Customer Focus:** Demonstrated ability to comprehend customer needs and translate them into impactful product features. - **Analytical Skills:** Proficiency in data analysis, market research, and product performance metrics. Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar is beneficial. - **Communication & Collaboration:** Excellent communication skills with a knack for influencing and collaborating effectively across functions.
