Role Summary

Product & Game Analytics Specialist

This is a cross-functional role working closely with product, game design, backend, and marketing to make data-driven decisions across the entire player lifecycle — from install to tournament win to store redemption.

Key Responsibilities Mixpanel: Product + Game Analytics

  • Design and maintain a

    comprehensive event taxonomy

    for player actions across games (1v1, tournaments, store, mission flow).
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure proper

    event instrumentation

    in Unity and backend.
  • Build reports, funnels, cohorts, and retention dashboards for:
  • Gameplay & tournament participation
  • Mission completion & drop-offs
  • Store engagement & gem spending
  • Feature usage and conversion
  • Analyze

    player progression, churn behavior

    , and

    monetization patterns

    .
  • Track impact of new features (e.g., seasonal leaderboards, reward tiers) with event-driven insights.


📈 Looker Studio via Firebase: Marketing Attribution

  • Create dashboards for:
  • Installs by source/campaign
  • Session depth and early retention
  • Platform/country-level breakdowns
  • Monitor attribution health and help optimize UA spend using Firebase and GA4 data.
  • Surface top-of-funnel trends to marketing and growth teams.


🎮 Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work with game designers to evaluate engagement loops and tuning decisions.
  • Support product team in evaluating A/B tests and post-launch KPIs.
  • Align with marketing on campaign tracking, attribution gaps, and install trends.


✅ What We’re Looking For

  • 2–4 years of experience in

    product or game analytics

    .
  • Advanced experience with

    Mixpanel

    (event schema design, cohorts, funnels, retention).
  • Solid understanding of

    Firebase

    and Looker Studio integration for marketing attribution.
  • Strong grasp of

    game KPIs

    : DAU/WAU, retention, ARPU, LTV, feature usage.
  • Ability to explain insights to non-data stakeholders and influence decisions.
  • Bonus: SQL and experience with mobile attribution or CDPs (like Appsflyer, Segment).
