Job Description

Job Summary

Product Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:-

Lead end-to-end
Jewellery Product Development
for the domestic market.
Collaborate with designers to create innovative, commercial & trend-driven collections.
Review final
renderings
and ensure timely upload to the website.
Plan seasonal collections based on
market insights and trend analysis
.
Coordinate sampling and development with manufacturing and CAD teams.
Manage
Visual Merchandising
for collection presentation and brand display.
Work closely with sales, marketing, production & website teams for launches.
Prepare PD budgets and handle
travel for exhibitions & sourcing trips
.
Ensure product quality meets brand standards and customer expectations.
Lead, guide, and mentor the
design & merchandising team
.
Support pricing, costing and documentation for PD workflows.

Requirements:-

Minimum
5+ years
experience in jewellery product development or merchandising.
Strong knowledge of jewellery design, PD processes, materials & manufacturing.
Hands-on experience with VM, rendering review & collection planning.
Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Team handling capability and willingness to travel for exhibitions.
Familiarity with CAD software (Rhino/Matrix) is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:-

Degree/Diploma in
Jewellery Design, Product Development, Fashion, or Merchandising
.
Knowledge of industry trends, consumer preferences & competitive landscape.
Experience working with premium jewellery or export/domestic brands.
Strong analytical skills for product costing, pricing, and market alignment.
