As a Product Development Manager for a leading multinational in the manufacturing sector, you will be responsible for spearheading the end-to-end development of labels and packaging products in alignment with brand and customer requirements. Your role will involve creating and presenting mock-ups, prototypes, and design approvals, ensuring testing, compliance, and regulatory approvals for all new developments, and partnering with cross-functional teams for a smooth transition to large-scale production. You will also investigate and resolve technical challenges, drive costing exercises and supplier negotiations, monitor manufacturing performance, and facilitate pre-development meetings while handling multiple projects simultaneously. **Key Responsibilities:** - Spearhead the end-to-end development of labels and packaging products - Create and present mock-ups, prototypes, and design approvals - Ensure testing, compliance, and regulatory approvals - Partner with cross-functional teams for smooth transition to production - Investigate and resolve technical challenges - Drive costing exercises and supplier negotiations - Monitor manufacturing performance and quality benchmarks - Facilitate pre-development meetings and prepare documentation - Handle multiple projects and brand portfolios - Provide leadership and mentorship to the product development team **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum 10 years experience in apparel-related labels and packaging product development - At least 5 years in a leadership role managing product development teams - Solid expertise in project management with exposure to complex product portfolios - Knowledge of Offset or Gravure printing techniques is an advantage - Bachelors degree in Business Administration/Management is desirable - ERP experience is required (SAP preferred) As a Product Development Manager for a leading multinational in the manufacturing sector, you will be responsible for spearheading the end-to-end development of labels and packaging products in alignment with brand and customer requirements.
