Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product development and Management:

  • Manage the product lifecycle for a wide range of fire safety solutions, from product design to market introduction.
  • Conduct

    market research

    , competitive analysis, and gather feedback from customers to identify

    new product opportunities

    and improve existing offerings.
  • Provide valuable input into the

    product development

    process, ensuring products meet the specific needs of the Indian market.
  • Work closely with the

    global product team

    to address product gaps, pricing, and localization requirements.
  • Business Development & Strategic Planning:

  • Lead the development and execution of growth strategies for the

    Fire Detection and Suppression vertical

    , ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Build and manage relationships with

    key clients

    , including system integrators, distributors, consultants, and end-users across

    South India

    .
  • Spearhead

    business expansion

    into new verticals such as

    government projects, data centers, and industrial sectors

    .
  • Develop a

    strategic roadmap

    for product offerings, including fire alarm systems, public address systems, and gas suppression systems.
  • Product Commercial Cost:

  • Ensuring the stakeholders to have a clear understanding of product costs and the elements of those costs including material and manufacturing costs. o Responsible for the product estimation process.
  • Overall responsibility for the development and collection of internal manufacturing costs, including but not limited to Materials, Labor and Overhead.
  • Driving reduction in product cost, closely collaborating with Offering Management, Engineering, Procurement, Operations, and Finance to position our products in the market.
  • Establish current/actual product cost reporting capability and cadence of review. (Continual cost & margin monitoring).
  • Project Management & Delivery:

  • Oversee and provide

    techno-commercial support

    for fire safety projects, including

    RFI/RFP preparation

    ,

    cost optimization

    , and value engineering. o Manage large-scale

    design and build projects

    , ensuring alignment with customer requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Ensure timely

    delivery and execution

    of projects while maintaining high quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead a cross-functional team of

    business development

    ,

    sales

    , and

    engineering professionals

    to ensure project success and operational efficiency.
  • Provide

    leadership and mentorship

    to team members, fostering a high performance culture.
  • Collaborate closely with

    engineering

  • Reporting and Analytics:

  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on the

    progress of key projects
