The Project Engineer for the Smart Solution Project will play a key role in managing the installation and commissioning of smart solutions for customers. As a qualified candidate, you should have a Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with 3-5 years of experience in project management, or a BE/B Tech in Electrical/Electronics with 2-4 years of experience. During the Bid Stage, your responsibilities will include conducting site visits and surveys for smart solution installations, assessing feasibility with the existing setup, and explaining the scope of work and exclusions to the customer. You will also need to discuss and finalize installation timelines with the customer and visit the site to explain the prerequisites for the smart solution product being offered. Moving into the Pre-Implementation stage, you will hold a kick-off meeting with vendors, prepare project schedules and installation plans, and coordinate with channel partner engineers to ensure site requirements are understood. You will also be responsible for ensuring safety measures are followed by the installation team and coordinating the unloading and shifting of materials.
