Product Designer

Job description The Product Designer will be responsible for designing innovative, user-centred products that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. This role requires a creative thinker with a strong understanding of materials, form, and function. The Product Designer will work closely with project teams to develop design solutions that align with client needs and our brand vision. Role & responsibilities § Develop compelling designs and layouts for a variety of projects, with a focus on creativity and functionality. § Conduct thorough consultations with clients to grasp their objectives and preferences effectively. § Facilitate clear and efficient communication with clients, vendors, and project teams to ensure all requirements are met. § Produce comprehensive presentations, including 3D models, 2D drawings, mock-ups, and renderings, to visually convey design concepts to clients. § Generate accurate project quotes and oversee the entire workflow process to ensure client satisfaction and project success. § Conceptualize and sketch design plans, translating ideas into tangible visual representations. § Assess project costs and requirements during the budgeting phase to maintain financial feasibility and meet client expectations. Qualifications and Skills § Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related field. § 2-3 years of experience in product design, preferably within an interior design or furniture company. § Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds MAX , or Adobe Creative Suite. § Strong portfolio showcasing interior products, custom furniture, or decor items. § Excellent understanding of materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes relevant to interior design. § Strong communication and collaboration skills with an ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
